Charity Morgan is a private chef who to athletes who are committed to eating vegan. Her plant-based cooking draws on her own heritage to offer flavorful food with no sense that someone is denying themselves anything.

Puerto Rican, Creole, and American southern flavors and staple foods predominate here in the likes of fluffy biscuits, "cheesy" grits bowls, the handpies known as pastellillos, and am smoky, okra-rich gumbo.

You can cook outside those realms as well, by trying Morgan's chipotle-lime potato salad, cold soba noodles with citrus-miso dressing, or a gochujang jackfruit noodle bowl.
